In recent months, studies have been conducted by associations, initiatives and companies on various aspects of consumer behaviour. Their results unite the following finding: consumers want to consume more sustainably. As you can see from the following partial results, it is not only about the sustainability of the products themselves, but also about their packaging:
► 72 % of the (1,061) respondents assume that environmental properties will become even more important in the future, especially for packaging (Weissblech-kommt-weiter, 2021).
► 91% of (1,001) respondents do not feel sufficiently well informed regarding the sustainability of packaging (Simon-Kucher & Partners, 2021).
► approx. 60 % of the (1,026) respondents state that detailed knowledge on the correct separation of packaging is lacking (Mülltrennung wirkt, 2020).
► 43% of the (1,026) respondents would like to receive information about the correct separation of packaging waste on site in the supermarket (Mülltrennung wirkt, 2020).
► etc…
Therefore, use the free separation labels for your communication! With the separation instructions, you signal transparently and clearly to everyone that you fulfil your product responsibility in accordance with the Packaging Act (registration with the ZSVR/LUCID and participation in a dual system). In addition, you can inform your customers in an understandable way how to dispose of your packaging correctly after use. You can score points with your commitment to a more circular economy, especially with target groups that have an affinity for sustainability.
